Shepard Broad Law Center Dean Recognized

Shepard Broad Law Center Nathan AvruninNathan Avrunin received his law degree from NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center. Just recently, Associate Dean Tim Arcaro J.D. was recognized by the U.S. Department of State for his contribution to the Hague Convention Attorney Network. Arcaro is being recognized for donating his time in representing parents who are dealing with or may deal with children being internationally parentally abducted from South Florida. At the Shepard Broad Law Center, Dean Arcaro has lectured on topics like domestic violence, child advocacy, and professional responsibility.

Nathan Avrunin graduated cum laude and in the top 5% of his class at NSU in 1997. Mr. Avrunin had the privilege of attending law school while Dean Arcaro was part of the faculty. One of Dean Arcaro’s courses is Administrative Law. Mr. Avrunin had the honor of receiving the Book Award for having the highest grade for Administrative Law while it was taught by Johnny Burris.
