Syracuse Football Kicked Off Labor Day Weekend

Syracuse Football SeasonLabor Day Weekend was not only the perfect time for the beach and BBQs but it was also the start of college football! Nathan Avrunin started off the long weekend by watching the Syracuse Orange play the Villanova Wildcats. It was a close game; Syracuse took the win by only one point with the game ending after double-overtime at 27-26. There were a few close calls, like Terrel Hunt throwing a punch after a rough tackle. With next week being a bye week, Coach Tim Lester is confident it will do the team good to reflect on the first game and learn from it. Even though it was a tough game, Mr. Avrunin is confident in his Alma Mater and is excited to see where the season goes! He is particularly looking forward to being back on campus for the Syracuse vs. Florida State homecoming game.
