The anticipation grew as Syracuse Orange football fans waited to hear which game would be announced as Homecoming. To their surprise, October 11th against the defending National Champion Florida State Seminoles was announced as Homecoming. While playing FSU may seem daunting, Nathan Avrunin is excited to be back in the Dome to watch his Alma mater and cheer on the Orange. Even if the football team doesn’t do well, he is sure that the Pride of the Orange, the Syracuse University Marching Band, is sure to entertain before the game and at half-time. Nathan Avrunin is excited to connect with the marching band and alumni and celebrate with them at the Varsity after the game, win or lose.
